MULTIPLE MYELOMA

In recent years, the treatment paradigm in multiple myeloma has changed dramatically.1,2

An anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody, an IMiD or a proteasome inhibitor are now used as early as first line. That means that patients may have already been exposed to all three drug classes as early as first relapse. Therefore, new drug classes are needed for their next treatment line.3 We are dedicated to continually improving outcomes for patients with multiple myeloma.

NEXPOVIO®§ is the first and only in a unique class of oral XPO1 inhibitors – a new drug class for treating multiple myeloma.4,5

Live Scientific session

Novel treatments of patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma with XPO1 inhibitors

Code: UIH4

10 June 2022, 6.00 pm
CD123 and BPDCN

CD123 is an important marker that can support the identification of blood cancers.6,7

CD123 can be overexpressed in cancer cells. It’s associated with the development of diverse myeloid and lymphoid malignancies and is rapidly emerging as a therapeutic target in hematologic cancer.6-8

One hematologic malignancy characterized by the expression of CD123 is blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm (BPDCN) – a rare, clinically aggressive blood cancer with poor outcomes.*9-11

ELZONRIS®, specifically targeting CD123, is the first and only approved treatment for first-line BPDCN.12

Virtual scientific session

Current Developments in CD123-positive haematological malignancies

Code: UIHV13

16 June 2022, 6.00 pm
§ The marketing authorisation holder for Nexpovio is Karyopharm Europe GmbH
* The diagnosis of BPDCN requires immunophenotyping and fundamentally relies on the demonstration of CD4, CD56, CD123, CD303,
and TCL1 expression, together with lack of expression of markers for B cells, T cells, myeloid or monocytic cells, and NK cells.13,14
BPDCN = blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm;
CD = cluster of differentiation;
IMiD = immunomodulatory imide drug;
NK = natural killer cell;
TCL1 =T-cell leukemia/lymphoma 1;
XPO1 = exportin 1.
